GAMING ARENA

• System based games only.
• A Team should consist a maximum of four members only for counter strike.
• Another game will be NFS where only individual participation will be allowed.
• Two rounds will be conducted, preliminary and finals.

WEB CRAFTING

 

• A Team should consist a maximum of three members only.
• Websites can be designed based on their creativity.
• The Design Page should contain 3 to 5 links.
• Time Limit is 45 minutes.
• Pen Drives, CD's and DVD's  are strictly prohibited.
• The best web page will be selected based on performance.

TREASURE QUEST

• A team can have a maximum of two members.
• No external help like calculator, Mobile, electronic gadgets should be used.
• Participants can  just turn up at the venue for the prelims.
• Teams should travel by foot only.
• Teams should not split up.
• 7 clues to reach destination.
• The Team which finds the treasure in the least minimal time will be awarded the cash prize.
• Violating any of the rules will result in the elimination of the concerned team.

BUG TRACKING

•  Maximum of two members per Team.
•  The event comprises of two rounds
•  The Preliminary round comprises of 25 questions including 5 tie breaker questions.
• The questions will be from C, C++ and java.
• Teams selected in the preliminary round are only allowed to participate in the finals.
• The Final round will be coding round.
• Judges decision will be Final

TECHNICAL SHOTGUN

• A team should consist a maximum of two members.
• Teams selected from the preliminary round are only allowed to participate in the finals.
• Judges decision is final.

LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION!!!

• The short films should be compatible in VLC player.
• A Team should consist a maximum of two members only.
• All short films in languages other than English & Tamil should have sub-titles.
• The short film should not exceed 10 -12 mins.
• There is no restriction on the theme.
• Any short film showcasing vulgarity will be rejected.
• At the time of screening, both from the team should be compulsorily present.
• Judges decision will be final.
• There will be only 1 round.
• The teams have to present their films on the 17th FEB at GKMCET

ADZAP

• Set of two rounds will be conducted.
• In the first round a set of logos and slogans will be given.Participants are requested to find the respective companies.This will be in written format.
• Participants those who are selected in the preliminary round will be qualified to the finals.
• In the second round participants will be asked to enact and advertise the product which the participant will select from the lot.
• Vulgarity of any sort will be disqualified.
• Judges decision will be final in both the rounds.
• A cash prize of rs.500 will be awarded only for the first place.  

TECH BEST 'O' WAL

• Participants are requested to mail us a soft copy of their paper in IEEE format to abilene2k12@gmail.com on or before 4/2/12.
• The selected candidates will receive the intimation on or before 7/2/12.
• Participants are also requested to bring two hard copies and one soft copy (ppt format) on the day of symposium.
• A cash prize of Rs.1000 will be awarded only for the first place.
• The time limit for presentation is 8mins and viva voce is 2mins.
